Sparatus

As the age of Chaos turned and the the world began to sleep a new land mass emerged below Vikandor. Sparatus was cuddled up against the northern land, parted by a river of crystal clean, fresh water. Sparatus is in stark contrast to its northern cousin. Aside from the thick luscious valley of tropical paradise that can lure a seasoned traveller to kiss death, Sparatus is a land of freedoms.

The continent's ownership is split into an assortment of Kindgdoms, Coutries and tribes with some grey bits inbetween. Despite their disorganised appearance, the Continent's inhabitants are quick to gather a strong united front when attacked from above. This quick reaction is partly due to the strong influence of the Demon of Tier'ne who rules in a Dicatorship on an Island in South-West Sparatus.

The Demon of Tier'ne's influence over West Sparatus extends beyond his protection. Despite the appearances of an act of good will, protection is provided only to those that are in the Demon's service, which includes the Kindgom of Valendale whose royal family hides a dark secret and historical connection to the powerful demon. The Demon is one of most powerful figures to lay claim over a portion of Sparatus, he is rivalved only by the time travellers, the Masons and their friend the ancient noldorian elf, Dalmuros and their enemy, Lazurus, a shadowforge demon.

The Ferangee, a male dominated nomadic elf tribe were the first to surface onto the new continent of Sparatus. The rose from the Meirchtezeign, the ruins of Chaos located in the true south. The Ferangee led a contingent of Fae creatures, Ahn and some human out of the darkness deep inside the world and into the drearyness that is the daytime of this new age. They travelled for six weeks over the land until they came to a quiet cove where they made camp. The place would become the Kingdom of Valendale which would eventually stretch from the South-Western corner of Sparatus to the edges of the Eungalah, a thick, ancient forest. The Ferangee would continue their nomadic existance along the southern coastline of Sparatus, acting as a defence for the Kingdom that they helped to founder.

Eungalah has a reputation for being, odd. The ancient forest is filled with many creatures that are not found anywhere else in Azur as are many of the varieties and species of trees and other vegetation. Most travellers will travel around the forest, adding hours and hours onto travel times rather than travel through the forest to avoid being captured by the notorious "Rothe", a dangerous female Elf hybrid.

To the South West corner of Cape Krunell, a number of moderately sized settlements have sprung up on for the necessity of travellers,. There are no major towns or cities in South-East Sparatus where Shayndowwer Desert covers most of the quadrant leading up towards the centre of Sparatus and Eungalah. Just back beyond the cape and on the Eastern coast lies Eryyn Forest. Eryyn Forest is home to the descendants of the Ancient Elf, sometimes called The Gray.

Above Erryn Forest and over the lips of Shayndowwer Desert which kiss the coastline are grass lands and poppy fields that rise upwards towards the solid stone walls of Lycenta. Lycenta was founded and settled by deserters from Vikandor who rebelled against the slave trade twenty-seven years after the official beginning of the new age. Like most of the new settlements, Elves were the ones to fist strike out to create a new place of living, a place where history could be studied and preserved, a place of learning, of scholarly pursuits. They left Vikandor and struck out towards the south east just avoiding the fringes of Eungalah and passing between it and the Dwarven Kingdom, Barrurdoon found buried deep in the rocky mountains north of Lycenta. It had taken the dwarves a long time to burrow their way out of the ground and inside the mountains were wonderfully carved caverns that glittered with colours of many gemstones. The gemstones were mined and sold on the market for jewellry, magic uses and purchasing stones.

Above Barrurdoon another settlment began about the sametime as Lycenta. Desciomonde was founded by another group of deserters from Vikandor. They had begun their adventures after the deserters who founded Lycenta and had intended to meet the first group but at a pivotal turning, turned right instead of left.
