Valendale

Valendale is a Kingdom in South-West of Sparatus. The majority of population are Ahns with the House of Kyztsar sitting as the current ruling house of the Kingdom. Valendale is nicknamed the Kingdom of Light for out of all the places in Azur, Valendale by far receives the most sunlight each year.

Apart from a few small villages which support the surrounding farming communities, Valendale has only one thriving economic centre also known as Valendale and to which most people refer.

Valendale is not without its controversies. The ruling house is heavily influenced by the Demon of Tier'ne to whom they pay a stipend for protection. Though the price is said to be high, the Demon Sorceror protects the borders and provides mercenaries from his own army for battles and guards.

Valendale attracts both a large amount of trade through its borders as well as Tourists. Valendale's lands are the most fertile of any, helped along by an increasing amount of indirect sunlight. In the city of Valendale, directly above some suburban houses, a hole in the sky has for the first time allowed direct sunlight to filter upon the world. The first in many hundreds of years.
