What is a geofiction?

A geofiction (shortened from Geographic Fiction) is a fictional setting often created for use in a story, video game, tabletop role-playing game and sometimes for fun, like Azur. The word Geofiction is sometimes interchanged with Conworld, Constructed World, Sub-creation and fictional universe. A geofiction is created using World Building ideas and methodology but is not limited to the strict definition of a world as we perceive it in the 'real world', for its geographical setting.
